What the Travel Proposal Covers
The travel proposal provides a structured overview of your journey, bringing together the key elements that shape your trip.
It outlines the attractions and cities you will be visiting, how many days are allocated to each, and the overall flow of the journey.
Key experiences are highlighted to give direction to the journey, indicating what should be included without going into detailed planning.
The proposal also indicates the type of accommodation recommended, without going into specific property selections, as these are refined later during the planning phase.
An overview of transportation is included, reflecting how you may move between destinations. This could involve a combination of rail journeys, self-driving segments, or private transfers, depending on what best suits the journey.
You will also receive a complete quotation for the trip, along with any priority arrangements that may be required for selected experiences or accommodations.
What the Travel Proposal Is Not
The travel proposal is an overview of your journey, not a detailed day-by-day itinerary.
Accommodation details are not included at this stage, as selections are made later during the Custom Travel Planning phase.
Detailed scheduling, transport arrangements, and logistical planning are also not covered at this stage. These are developed during the next phase of Custom Travel Planning.
Pricing is presented as a complete investment for the journey.
Our value lies in the overall design, coordination, and curation of the experience as a whole, rather than individual components. Itemising would not accurately reflect the thought, time, and care that go into crafting your journey.

Travel Design Fee
Designing your journey is a professional service, reflecting the thought, expertise and work involved in creating a trip around your needs.
Each journey is designed from the ground up, based on your travel requirements, preferences, pace and priorities. Behind the scenes, considerable work goes into developing the routing, refining the travel flow, researching suitable experiences and ensuring the overall journey is both cohesive and achievable.
The Travel Design Fee is non-refundable once the design process begins. If you engage Epic Travel Designer to arrange your trip after the Travel Design phase, the full Travel Design Fee will be credited towards your final tour fare.
